Weekly Update 12.10.18

Wow, what a playoff season! I wanted to take a moment to point out how dedicated every student was who came and performed at the playoff game in Waco this weekend. As well as every parent and supporter who came to cheer on the football team. With temperatures below freezing at times, the commitment to spirit was never more alive. Thanks to all who supported the football program by supporting our band program throughout an intense and powerful playoff season!

As we near the end of the first semester, I wanted to remind everyone of some things coming up as well as make it possible to help with our largest booster club fundraiser of the year. As with every Holiday and 4th of July season, we have the opportunity to sell fireworks through our partner company, Top Dog Fireworks. If you would like to sign up to help the band boosters make things financially possible for our students and secure lower annual fees then please use this link to sign up for a shift. Remember that we are EXPANDING student fee discount credit to those students who work 10 hours of shifts during this holiday season!

TOP DOG SIGN UP!

Due to possible flooding and dangerous conditions, TMEA Region 33 Band Auditions have been moved to Spring High School for this coming Friday and Saturday. Students, the phase 1 and phase 2 plans remain unchanged. These will be discussed in classes.

Here is a look at the week upcoming. Remember, wind players have auditions as well as some have holiday ensemble performances this week. Final exams begin Thursday!
